This handbag from the 1970's is made from a true navajo blanket. It is unique and only one like this was created. It is hand-crafted, by a native artist . It was not mass produced by a company.
It is red 100% wool and has a simple native pattern running from the front top and extending down the back of the bag. . There is black vinyl trim that runs along the edges of the purse.
simple but stunning.....
The tote, purse can carry books, or use it as a hobo bag.
The closure is a tapered synthetic brown/black "horn-bone" button type closure.
It has a woven black trim on the bottom side.
The handle, strap is 2.5 inches wide with black vinyl accents running down the strap.
The inside is black vinyl and is clean and in perfect condition.
It does not have any pockets.
NOTE-There is a Moth bite on the front . Check out the photo. It is not very noticeable and I priced the bag with the imperfection in mind.
